Look, it wasn’t all good. The Knights were out-shot 16-10 in the first period, blocked shots were nearly equal, and again we’re losing the face-off battle 15-12. But, we are up 2-0 in the fist period.
Robin Lehner no doubt gets the fist period gold star. He held it down during multiple power plays including a 5-3. For those calling for Flower, I’m sure we will see him tomorrow on the back-to-back, but for tonight, lets leave that argument alone.
Zach Whitecloud and Alex Tuch continue to impress. Is it too soon to start saying Tuch for Conn Smythe?
